Reviews from the Wishing Shelf Book Awards for my novel Animal Lab
“An interesting book this. Of course, there is an Animal Farm element to it, but it´s also a look at/analysis of where the world is going and how worrying that might be.”
“A very enjoyable novel, although a little short for me. I think it would go down well with readers who enjoy political satire; a little tongue-in-cheek in parts, but very relevant and often even thought-provoking.”
“I agree with many aspects of this novel. Western culture is, in many ways, a mess; this novel could be seen as a wake-up call. Not that anything will change! Fans of Animal Farm will possibly love this book – or hate it. I did think there were a few too many characters but, other than that, a compelling read.”
“An excellent novel for a Reading Club. Not too long and lots of food for thought. Political/cultural elements throughout. The author seems to know his stuff and has put together a fascinating novel with animal characters trying to ´do the right thing´ and not succeeding particularly well. Sounds a lot like humanity to me!”
To sum it up: “A fascinating story with plenty of (political) food for thought. A FINALIST and highly recommended!”
